Robert Blackshear, the Athletic Coordinator and Head Football coach for Cypress Lakes High School, has spent 29 years as a football coach, and has been the athletic coordinator at Cypress Springs for the last 11 years.

Coach Blackshear earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Angelo State University, and is certified in Secondary History and Secondary Physical Education.

Cypress Lakes will compete on the varsity level in all sports except football starting with the 2009-2010 school year.

The school’s varsity football games will start with the 2010-2011 school year.
