Coach Demond Hicks has taught and coached in CFISD for ten years. He began his career at Frazier Elementary where he taught PE for two years before moving to Hamilton Middle School.

After two years of coaching football and teaching PE, Coach Hicks joined the Cypress Springs Panthers. During his six years at Cypress Springs HS, Coach Hicks taught PE and Health. He coached Junior Varsity and Varsity football, serving as defensive back and linebacker specialist, and he coached the 9th grade and Junior Varsity basketball teams.

Coach Hicks received a B.S. in Human Performance from Prairie View A & M University and has almost completed his M.S. in Educational Administration.

Coach Hicks looks forward to the demands and challenges of developing new programs at Cypress Lakes High School.
